Service Description

Assessment of the home environment to identify potential hazards and recommend modifications to prevent accidental falls, improve accessibility and functional mobility throughout the home, and support independent living. Also addresses emergency and fire safety, as well as other areas of client concern. Offers suggestions for potential modifications and product solutions specific to each client. Includes the on-site assessment and a comprehensive written summary with additional resources provided. Fee can be charged at a flat rate for a comprehensive assessment of all areas of the home or as an hourly rate if clients prefer to address only specific areas of the home. Clients and their family/caregivers are highly encouraged to be an active part of the assessment process.
